Website terms
About Plainly
Plainly provides UK financial calculation and decision-support tools. These terms apply to the public website and demonstration embeds. A commercial customer receives separate order form and licence terms, which take priority for that service.
General information
Calculator results are estimates based on the information entered, published rules and the assumptions stated on each page. They are not a payslip, tax return, lending decision, benefit decision, personalised recommendation or regulated financial advice. You remain responsible for checking important decisions with the appropriate employer, authority, lender or qualified adviser.
Acceptable use
You may use the public calculators for personal and internal business evaluation. You must not misrepresent results, interfere with the service, automate abusive request volumes, remove notices from a demonstration, or embed, resell or white-label the calculators without written permission.
Accuracy and availability
Plainly maintains dated sources, automated tests and documented boundaries, but cannot guarantee that every personal circumstance or payroll implementation is represented. The service may change or become temporarily unavailable. Material errors reported to Plainly will be investigated and corrected according to severity.
Intellectual property
The Plainly brand, interface, written explanations and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Government rules and source material remain the property of their respective owners.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, Plainly is not responsible for loss caused by relying on an estimate outside its documented purpose or by information entered incorrectly.
Law
These website terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
